BROWN COUNTY TEEN COURT
Mary Ann Wonn

Probation Agent and Teen Court Coordinator

Brown County Teen Court began in October of 1998 as a result of Judge Terri J. Stoneburner’s request and grants from Families First Collaborative and United Way of New Ulm.

There are currently 60 jurors trained to hear first time non-violent juvenile offender cases. Teen Jurors range in ages from 14-18. They are located all over the County. Brown County Teen Court hears close to 100 cases per year. They are trained to ask the child and parent questions about the offense and determine a fair sentence. Teen jurors cannot sit on any case where they know the offender.

Teen Court operates twice monthly. Contact our office at the number listed below if you have an interest in becoming a teen juror or have any questions.
