Family Facilitator Program

Program Mission Statement: To assist children and families to be successful in their home, school, and community using prevention and early intervention services.


The Program is:

  • Free
  • Voluntary
  • Confidential
  • Provided in home/school
  • Easily accessed
  • Provided year round

Who is Eligible:

  • Residents of Brown, Sibley and Watonwan Counties
  • Children and Families experiencing difficulties with: Parenting, Family Changes, Discipline/Behavior problems at home/school/community/, Social/emotional issues, Communications

What Services are offered?

  • Connecting with community resources: Family Facilitators can help your family locate and obain services for which you may be eligible.
  • Service Coordination: Family Facilitators work with you and your family to accomplish goals that are important to you.
  • Brief in-home services: Six to twelve month services help children, parents, and school staff address educational, social, behavioral, and family issues that may be preventing your child from being successful.
  • Summer Activities: A variety of activities to provide social skills and opportunities for new experiences.
