The Personnel Department is responsible for a variety of personnel management functions related to employees and employment, including: all aspects of the employment process from recruitment to termination; implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs; employee activities and employee counseling; and monitoring compliance with the County's Personnel Policies and Regulations, collective bargaining agreements and federal and state employment laws. This department is also involved in the administration of workers' compensation, and unemployment compensation administration, and responsible for and maintains the County payroll.
