COVID-19 Notice:

Our office will be opening to the public beginning Tuesday, May 19th at 8 am. We ask anyone with possible COVID symptoms to not come into the office but to call instead.  Our office number is 359-6500 and we are open from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.  We will be limiting the number of people in our lobby to allow for the CDC recommended six foot social distancing guideline. If an individual is to be seen in an interview room, they will be asked to complete a health screening first. 


The Purpose of Brown County Human Services is to provide an array of services and assistance designed to help individuals reach or strive for any one of the following goals:

  • Self-support
  • Self-sufficiency
  • Protection for children and adults
    from neglect, abuse and exploitation
  • Preservation of families
  • Community-based care
  • Residential care
