The group has representation from public health, hospitals and clinics, law enforcement , emergency medical services, emergency management, fire, county and city government officials, schools, Red Cross, business, long term care facilities, and behavioral health providers. The Brown County Emergency Preparedness Council has been planning for a Pandemic influenza outbreak for approximately 3 years. There has also been planning done at the regional and state level.
