Administration

The County Administrator is the administrative head of the County and is responsible for the overall management of county operations and for carrying out all decisions, policies, ordinances, and resolutions of the Board of Commissioners. The Administrator reports directly to the board and acts as a liaison between the board and its departments. The County Administrator's duties include the preparation of the recommended annual budget, as well as overseeing the functions related to personnel administration. The Administrator directs and facilitates special studies, as needed, to improve services. The Administrator serves on a wide variety of county-related boards and committees to enhance the organization in general and serve the best interests of the County.
