Brown County offers four canoe access points to the Cottonwood River. As this scenic river meanders across the county from west to east, canoe access points will be found on County Road 2, County Road 10,County Road 24, and on County Road 11.

Each of these access points offers an area to put your canoe into the river and a parking area for vehicles. Please pack out what you take in, take only photos and leave only footprints.

Donations from the Lost Dog and Fox Hunter’s Club and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources were used by the Brown County Park Commission to develop these unique areas.
