Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) is a benefit for children and adolescents from infancy through the age of 20 years who are enrolled in a Minnesota healthcare plan such as South Country Health Alliance or Blue Plus.
The C&TC program connects children and adolescents with medical and dental providers, as well as, offering information on child development, general health, safety, and community resources.
Preventative health care is important for several reasons:
- To identify potential health problems
- To provide early diagnoses and treatment for health problems
- To decrease health care bills and costs
- To encourage positive, healthy habits
- Well child checkups help keep children healthy so they can learn and grow!
Child and Teen Checkups are performed at ages:
0- 1 month
2 months
4 months
6 months
9 months
12 months
15 months
18 months
24 months
30 months
36 months
4-20 years annually
