The Brown County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center is located in the Brown County Law Enforcement Center at 15 S Washington St in New Ulm. The Dispatch Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for 911 calls placed in Brown County, which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, answering 911 emergency calls as well as non-emergency calls.

The Dispatch Center is the severe weather warning point for Brown County. Warning sirens are activated for New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Comfrey, Evan, Cobden, and Hanska. These sirens are tested on the first Wednesday of each month.
