Contact the Brown County Assessor’s office before July 1st @ 507-233-6606 to speak with an appraiser to request an inspection.

Have You Moved? Property Tax Statements and Value Notices are typically sent out in March each year and many are returned. All undeliverable statements and notices are returned to us by the Post Office.

  • If you move or change your mailing address, even temporarily, you must notify us of this change.
  • For questions or to update your mailing address, e-mail us at bctreasurer@co.brown.mn.us or call us at 507-233-6613. Be sure to include your name, property address and property ID# for each property you own, and new mailing address.
