Contact the Brown County Assessor’s office before July 1st @ 507-233-6606 to speak with an appraiser to request an inspection.

Boat Patrol

boat11The Boat Patrol fulfills the statutory duties of the Office of Sheriff associated with the use of public and private waters; to provide public safety to users of the public waterways; to investigate incidents on both public and private water; to promote boat and water safety education to the citizens of Brown County. The Boat Patrol also conducts search and rescue operations on area lakes and rivers. The Boat Patrol Unit consists of three boats.
