All new parents in the county are contacted and offered a free home visit by a public health nurse. The visit offers a health assessment of baby and mother, including weight & feeding checks, and information about child growth and development and community resources to help parents.
Each baby is given a baby quilt and other gifts.
Follow Along Program is a developmental screening program to help parents track their child's developmental milestones from 4 months to age three.
Parents may enroll their child in the Follow Along Program at the time of the Universal Contact home visit, at WIC clinics, Immunization clinics or by calling Brown County public Health.
