The goal of the Brown County Water Plan is to identify and assess the water resource concerns through local selection. This is aimed to protect and preserve the County’s lakes, rivers, and streams for years to come. Brown County participates in various efforts (e.g. One Watershed One Plan and Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy) that focus on managing the need of water resources both inside Brown County and outside.
